Job summary

Burlington Stores is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment and deliver excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and support loss prevention programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor the store.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility at the store entrance and monitor for theft and safety.
• Greet every customer with a warm, confident greeting and assist as needed.
• Conduct bag checks according to safety standards and report any incidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Identify theft or suspicious activity and report promptly to management.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
