Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. – HomeGoods in the USA is seeking a frontline teammate to deliver a highly-satisfied customer experience across registers and sales floor. You will train associates, ensure proper cash handling, and coordinate coverage while upholding store standards.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is preferred. Prior retail or supervisory experience is a plus, and you will contribute to a safe, organized, and welcoming store environment in Michigan.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
• Available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to lift heavy merchandise with/without reasonable accommodations.
• Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a "Highly Satisfied" customer experience
• Drives customer loyalty through programs and initiatives
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly
• Trains and mentors all Associates on Policies and Procedures
• Provides recognition and constructive feedback on cashier performance
• Maintains and monitors cash controls including change fund
• Assigns registers and coordinates breaks for coverage
• Maintains cleanliness and organizational standards on the frontline
• Executes and adheres to Company directives
• Upholds merchandising standards within the queue-line
