Job summary

Clark Associates in Albany, GA seeks an ES Generalist to deliver front-line, on-site employee support in a fast-paced distribution center. You will handle onboarding, benefits questions, attendance tracking, and basic employee relations tasks.

You will maintain HR files, coordinate with the centralized Leave Administration team, and support compliance activities (I-9 audits, postings) while partnering with Recruiting and Training for seamless day-one processes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting HR onboarding and employee relations (front-line).
• Familiarity with HRIS updates and I-9 compliance workflows.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent floor presence to answer employee questions and provide first-line ES support.
• Execute routine HR tasks including onboarding check-ins, badge distribution, communication postings, and employee assistance.
• Build relationships across departments and shifts to understand employee needs and communicate observations and trends to the ESBP.
• Support engagement activities by coordinating logistics, distributing materials, and tracking participation.
• Provide managers with basic support on policy interpretation, documentation requirements, and ES procedures.
• Support ESBP-led investigations by organizing documentation and maintaining accurate records.
• Monitor attendance trends and assist with return-to-work conversations and corrective action documentation.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies and handle complex issues with ESBP guidance.
• Maintain accurate employee files, HRIS updates, and required documentation.
• Execute compliance tasks including I-9 audits, documentation collection, and required postings.
• Track ES metrics such as turnover, onboarding completion, training compliance, and engagement activities.
• Provide basic benefits support, including open enrollment assistance and employee questions, routing complex matters to the Benefits & Compensation team.
• Support leave intake and coordinate leave-related information with centralized Leave Administration team.
• Partner with Recruiting and Training & Development to ensure smooth pre-employment and day-one processes.
• Conduct or support new hire orientation sessions and ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately.
• Support hiring surges as needed.
• Track completion of ES-related trainings and onboarding milestones.
• Provide basic support to new managers on ES processes, documentation expectations, and system navigation
