Job summary

Clark Associates in Hagerstown, MD seeks an ES Generalist to provide front-line, on-site employee support, onboarding, benefits questions, and leave administration. You will partner with ESBP and operations leaders to maintain a compliant, positive work environment while handling I-9 compliance, documentation, and policy interpretation.

Qualifications

• Experience executing onboarding check-ins and new hire paperwork.
• Ability to interpret policies and support investigations.
• Knowledge of I-9 audits, postings, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent floor presence to answer employee questions and provide first-line ES support.
• Execute routine HR tasks including onboarding check-ins, badge distribution, postings, and employee assistance.
• Build relationships across departments to understand employee needs and communicate observations to the ESBP.
• Monitor attendance trends and assist with return-to-work conversations and corrective action documentation.
• Track ES metrics such as onboarding completion and training compliance.
