Job summary

Pearson is seeking a forward deployed engineer to work directly with internal stakeholders and ship production AI applications. You’ll design end-to-end systems, build fast, and iterate in real time with users on current workflows.

You will own the full stack from data and backend to frontend, deploy to real URLs behind secure auth, and partner with Pearson teams to push AI capabilities across the business.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with production systems.
• Strong CS fundamentals and system design ability.
• Experience shipping AI-enabled applications and LLMs.
• Excellent communication with executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal stakeholders to design end-to-end systems for real problems.
• Conduct discovery by observing users and translating needs into buildable work.
• Ship production AI applications on frontier models and tooling.
• Own the full stack from frontend to deployment and observability.
