Job summary

Pearson's PSG-CP team is looking for a forward deployed engineer who works directly with internal stakeholders and ships production AI software end-to-end, not just specs or demos.

You will embed with the most strategic lines of business, design and build systems from discovery through deployment, and own the full stack—frontend, backend, data, and observability—while advancing AI adoption at Pearson.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with production systems end to end.
• Strong CS fundamentals; data structures, algorithms, system design.
• Frontend depth with Modern React and TypeScript; component architecture.
• Backend depth in Node.js, Java, and Python; API design and auth.

Responsibilities

• Go to where the problem is and build end-to-end systems for stakeholders.
• Conduct real discovery by observing users and translating insights into working software.
• Ship production AI applications using frontier LLMs, agents, and retrieval systems.
