Job summary

The Founders Inn & Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Virginia Beach is seeking a Front Office Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment and enjoys developing others. You will lead daily front desk operations, coach staff, and model Hilton service standards to create memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities include supervising check-ins/outs, coordinating shifts, handling guest requests, and supporting Night Audit coverage when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of hotel Front Desk experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a hotel environment.
• Strong guest service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience handling guest concerns and delivering effective service recovery.
• Knowledge of hotel Front Office procedures, including reservations, check-in/check-out, room assignments, and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead with hospitality by creating a welcoming environment and recognizing guests.
• Supervise, coach, train, and motivate Front Desk associates while promoting teamwork and growth.
• Oversee check-ins, check-outs, guest requests, and service recovery to ensure timely resolutions.
• Coordinate shift assignments and monitor daily front office operations across Front Desk, Guest Services, PBX, and Reservations.
• Promote Hilton service standards and our service philosophy to go beyond expectations.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and exercise sound judgment.
