Job summary

Hamilton Hotel Washington, D.C. seeks an experienced front office leader to serve as Manager on Duty, supporting the Front Office Manager and Director during shifts. You will promptly resolve guest issues and coordinate with other departments to boost communication and satisfaction.

This role requires a high school diploma, strong computer skills, Opera PMS familiarity is a plus, and excellent written and verbal communication. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with computers and general office PC applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Opera PMS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Manager on duty, and supports Front Office Manager and Director of Front Office during shift hours.
• Promptly resolves any guest complaints or issues
• Coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction
• Anticipate the guests’ needs, change direction quickly and multi-task
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and conduct
• Ensures proper communication within the department
• Other job duties as required by management
