Highgate Hotels, LP is seeking a Front Office Supervisor for the Sheraton Rockville property. The role involves supervising front desk operations, maximizing occupancy and guest satisfaction, and ensuring proper cash handling and service standards.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma, some college coursework, and prior experience in hospitality. The position is full-time and on-site with hourly compensation and regular work hours.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Customer services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk according to standards.
• Operate the PBX console and maintain hotel standards.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities, and hours.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages.
• Balance and close shift paperwork; update logs daily.
• Handle reservations and rate quotes; maintain hospitality terminology.
• Assist guests with safe deposit boxes and emergencies as needed.
• Fully operate Front Desk computer system and shift checklists.
