Job summary

Saint Francis Health System is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for the Warren Clinic – Glenpool location. The role supports front office operations, including patient check-in, scheduling, billing, and eligibility verification.

You will use EMR software to process encounters and maintain patient records with accuracy. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, solid PC knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced medical office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of front facing customer service or medical office experience.
• Demonstrated PC skills.
• Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Effective critical thinking and use of logic.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs patients and visitors according to established office protocols.
• Registers demographic and billing information and determines eligibility.
• Successfully uses the EMR and other computer applications per policies.
• Maintains medical records and prepares charts and test results.
• Collects co-pays and deductibles; posts charges and payments to patient accounts.
• Reviews and assists in the collection of past due accounts and insurance claims.
• Schedules appointments and tests and maintains provider schedules.
• Ensures HIPAA and OSHA compliance and keeps environment clean and safe.
