Job summary

Starkey Retail in Austin, TX is seeking a friendly front desk receptionist to welcome patients, manage scheduling, and support the clinic team as part of the Patient Journey initiative.

You will handle appointment confirmations, patient intake, basic clerical tasks, and accounts receivable while maintaining HIPAA compliance. This role offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years customer service/retail experience preferred.
• Proficient with Sycle, Pay Junction, Microsoft 365 or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage reception per company standards.
• Maintain a concierge-level front-office experience and keep the office neat.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments; enter outcomes within 24 hours.
• Manage patient accounts receivable, deposits and inventory per guidelines.
• Support patient education and engagement, participate in events as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
