Job summary

InnVentures, operator of Fairfield Inn & Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center in SC, seeks a Front Office Manager to lead the front desk team and deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, foster guest loyalty, and ensure smooth operations, including cash handling and cross-department coordination. This role requires strong customer service and supervisory skills in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work long hours as needed.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with staff and guests.
• Able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, training, coaching, mentoring and scheduling for the front office team.
• Develop loyalty by proactively engaging long-term and repeat guests.
• Resolve guest issues using problem-solving skills to their satisfaction.
• Supervise ordering and inventory for front office supplies within a budget.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure front desk checklists and procedures are followed and accurate.
• Post and reconcile charges on guest receipts with proper cash handling.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and cross-department collaboration.
