Job summary

InnVentures IVI LP in Charleston, SC seeks a General Manager for Fairfield Inn & Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center. You will lead hotel teams, mentor staff, and uphold our values to deliver personalized service and strong financial performance for owners.

This role requires at least 5 years progressive hotel leadership (or a 4-year degree plus 2+ years related experience) and a proven ability to coach teams, drive guest satisfaction, and manage operations with safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressive hotel leadership experience, or a 4-year college degree with at least 2 years in a related role.
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and guests at all levels.
• Proven coaching and mentoring skills to develop department managers.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, support, coach and mentor department managers
• Empower staff to deliver exceptional guest service
• Cultivate guest relationships to foster loyalty and satisfaction
• Resolve guest and employee issues to their satisfaction
• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed daily
• Support benefits administration, payroll and HR tasks as needed
• Collaborate with sales to drive revenue and market share
• Conduct property inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Lead staff meetings and daily huddles for planning
• Ensure emergency procedures are communicated and followed
