Responsibilities include handling triage calls, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and coordinating with the Central Billing Office to ensure accurate charge entry and coding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; no experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Handles telephone calls from patients, forwarding calls needing triage.
• Performs receptionist duties.
• Verifies health insurance payment information and educates patients on the applicable regulations.
• Collects payments and records data.
• Charge entry, which includes assigning diagnostic codes and entering all physician related and clinic charges.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure all charges are captures and properly collected.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
