Job summary

Vision Innovation Partners is seeking a Patient Care Lead to oversee front desk operations, patient intake, education, and data collection. You will train staff, manage schedules, and ensure a positive patient experience while reporting performance metrics to leadership.

You will coordinate with clinical management, handle insurance and refractions, and ensure end-of-day processes are completed, contributing to smooth, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Nurturing and caring demeanor.
• Clear verbal, written, and typing communication required.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly front-office schedules; supervise front-office staff.
• Prepare monthly administrator schedules and notify staff of vacations/meetings.
• Manage check-in/check-out, appointment book, and front-desk customer service.
• Oversee kiosk management, insurance, refractions, and forms uploads; manage kiosk/front-desk voids.
• Verify and sign off on daily cash collected by front desk.
• Manage petty cash and maintain current product/cost list for front desk.
• Coordinate with clinical manager for smooth office operations.
• Report daily to billing manager on schedule and no-shows; propose solutions.
• Provide back-up to front office staff.
