Job summary

Vision Innovation Partners is seeking a personable Patient Care Associate to join our front desk team. You will greet patients, manage check-in/out, schedule appointments, and handle administrative tasks with a focus on patient experience.

You will support providers, maintain accurate records, and assist with basic financial activities while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software a plus.
• Healthcare experience preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally in person and by phone.
• Answer questions or refer to appropriate staff promptly.
• Efficiently schedule appointments to optimize provider time.
• Notify providers of patient arrivals.
• Reassure and inform patients to ease anxieties.
• Retrieve and update patient records for accuracy.
• Verify financial records and collect charges; file third-party claims.
• Maintain office inventory and equipment; anticipate supply needs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
