Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts offers an internship program designed for college students to gain hands-on experience in the Front Office. The intern will shadow leaders, attend operational meetings, and work alongside front office teams to ensure daily success.

The program immerses you in Front Office operations, with exposure to PMS and other systems, while developing guest service, communication, and problem-solving skills for a long-term hospitality career.

Qualifications

• Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with diplomacy.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to observe emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Strong verbal and written communication; adapt style to audience.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Front Office leaders and shifts to learn operations.
• Attend department and leadership meetings regularly.
• Become proficient with PMS and Front Office systems.
• Use labor tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and policies.
• Be reliable and available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
