Qualifications

• Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, with diplomacy to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front office and perform essential job functions.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; adapt style to audience.

Responsibilities

• Shadow identified leaders within the Front Office department at the hotel.
• Shadow each shift and each position within the Front Office at the hotel.
• Attend department and leadership meetings within the hotel.
• Learn to operate the PMS and other Front Office systems.
• Utilize labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Interact positively with customers and resolve problems to maintain satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and policies.
• Maintain attendance and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
