Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Deskside support specialist in San Francisco (SFO) to provide technical and operational support to traders and front-office users, ensuring high availability of trading applications, market data platforms, and trading floor infrastructure.

Responsibilities include supporting Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon, Reuters, Fidessa, OMS/EMS, and handling incidents via ServiceNow/Remedy in a fast-paced environment with on-site and remote assistance.

Qualifications

4-8 years in Trader Support, Front Office Support or Financial Services IT Support.
Experience supporting Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Asset Management or Brokerage environments.
Strong Windows/Mac device support and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and operational support to traders and front-office users to ensure high availability of trading applications, market data platforms, and trading floor infrastructure.
Support Bloomberg Terminals, Refinitiv Eikon, Reuters, Fidessa and OMS/EMS applications.
Troubleshoot issues related to trading applications, market data feeds, desktops, laptops, and multi-monitor workstations.
Provide onsite and remote support to traders in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or Remedy, ensuring SLA compliance.
Coordinate with application, network, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution.
Perform software installations, upgrades, user access management, and hardware deployments.
