Sorella by Giada at Hollywood Casino Aurora is seeking a Maitre d' to supervise front-of-house operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will assist the Food & Beverage Manager in meeting objectives while enforcing company policies and safety standards.

The role emphasizes coordinating staff, managing service flow, and maintaining restaurant presentation. Starting salary is $25.00 per hour, based on experience, with shifts any day of the week.

Formación

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Two years of previous customer service experience; or combination of education and experience.
• Five years’ experience in Food & Beverage preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Must be able to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent motivational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Must have knowledge of kitchen/restaurant sanitation, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Supports departmental operational goals and monitors performance to ensure service, productivity, and profitability objectives are achieved.
• Oversees reservations, guest seating, table assignments, and dining room flow to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinates staffing and scheduling needs with management to ensure appropriate service coverage.
• Supports compliance with departmental budgets and established cost-control measures.
• Ensures team members follow established customer service and hospitality standards.
• Greets and welcomes guests, manages special requests, and ensures a positive and personalized dining experience.
• Addresses guest concerns and service issues promptly and escalates unresolved matters to management.
• Monitors dining room operations to ensure tables are properly set and restaurant presentation meets standards.
• Coordinates communication between guests, servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management for seamless service.
• Assists with developing and maintaining service procedures and ensuring consistent execution of restaurant standards.
• Conducts or assists with pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities and reservations.
• Monitors team member performance and provides direction for efficient workflow.
• Supports team member training and development, reinforcing hospitality expectations and accountability.
• Provides ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Assists the Manager with administrative responsibilities and reporting.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identifies and reports operational, safety, or compliance concerns.
