Job summary

Wish You Were Here Group in New York is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations and staff in a high-volume venue. You will ensure guest satisfaction, uphold brand standards, and collaborate with the General Manager to optimize service delivery.

Responsibilities include coaching and developing FOH teams, managing scheduling and training, monitoring POS operations, reviewing monthly P&L, and ensuring safety and sanitation compliance across the venue.

Qualifications

• Strong guest service foundation and leadership skills are required.
• Experience coaching, building a team, and problem solving is essential.
• Two-year associate degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house operations and staff with attention to brand standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and guest engagement as per handbook.
• Oversee scheduling, coaching, development, and performance reviews for FOH employees.
• Manage POS operations and ensure accurate financial reconciliation.
• Review venue P&L statements and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
