Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Applications to design, build and support the BAS web app. This remote role supports a Washington, DC–based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

You will develop interactive UI/UX components, review requirements, optimize performance, and contribute to SAC Analytics Designer-based features using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. Collaboration and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in front-end web development using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and data formats like JSON/XML.
• Strong OO design and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Build web applications using SAP Analytics Cloud or other web technologies.
• Review requirements and interface designs.
• Develop interactive UI/UX components.
• Monitor and improve front-end performance.
• Document changes and updates; participate in code reviews.
