Job summary

SMX is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer - Front End Web Applications to design, build, and support BAS web applications. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance and U.S. citizenship.

The team develops enterprise BI, planning, and analytics tools using SAC Analytics Designer and standard web technologies. You will work on interactive dashboards, widgets, and scalable front-end solutions with a focus on performance and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• 5+ years frontend web dev experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs and data formats like JSON/XML.
• Strong OO programming, debugging and web development skills.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance enterprise front-end features using SAC Analytics Designer or web tech.
• Build interactive UI/UX components and optimize performance.
• Review requirements, document changes, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with team and communicate feasibility of UI/UX designs.
