Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to design, build, and support the BAS web app. You’ll work on interactive dashboards and analytics, leveraging SAC Analytics Designer, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

Role requires 2 years of front-end experience, REST API know-how, and the ability to work independently and with a team. Remote work supports a Washington, DC customer with Public Trust clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 2 years of software engineering experience in front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
• Understanding of JavaScript and REST APIs, plus data formats like XML/JSON.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the BAS web application UI/UX.
• Build enterprise web features using JavaScript and SAC Analytics Designer.
• Review requirements, implement interactive UI components, and optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members.
