Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market seeks a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with store operations, and help hire/train new staff while ensuring safety and efficiency at the registers.

The role requires 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Detail-oriented with good math and cash-handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide guidance to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and take steps for disciplinary actions.
