Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a team of cashiers in a fast-paced store environment. You will ensure exceptional customer service, supervise frontline staff, and support store operations with an emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Responsibilities include hiring and training new cashiers, scheduling breaks, and maintaining cash register operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior cashiering experience with leadership training.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to guide and mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Ensure excellent customer service by directing and supporting cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and manage disciplinary actions.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and proper use of front-end equipment.
