Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Able to handle stressful situations with composure.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and reporting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Second language helpful for customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate store and department information to staff.
• Collaborate with associates to reach store goals.
• Create welcoming environment and answer product questions.
• Know products and respond to customer questions.
• Monitor supply expenses for the department.
• Manage cash control, sales and cash items.
• Schedule Front-end associates for coverage.
• Assist management with budgets and financial reports.
• Develop a department business plan to achieve results.
• Hire entry level staff for the store.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Maintain inventory awareness and discrepancies.
• Price changes and signage updates.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Report safety risks or illegal activity.
• Oversee Front-end operations and ensure lawful compliance.
