Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior; positive attitude; acts as a role model.
• Operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Multitask, prioritize and stay organized.
• Lift/carry up to 30 lbs and move carts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist with customer issues at the register.
• Schedule store sweeps, monitor cash register supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain visibility of exit doors for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule proper meal and rest breaks per policy and state rules.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and disciplinary actions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
