Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1–2 years of cash handling experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts as needed; physical requirements.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, cash handling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Address customer issues at the register and ensure smooth checkout processes.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers; support disciplinary actions as needed.
