Job summary

Burlington Stores in Cleveland is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Selling Floor Supervisor to join the store leadership team. You will supervise front-end operations, coach associates, and help manage Merchandising, Customer Service, and Operations to deliver outstanding service and results.

This role requires at least one year of supervisory experience in off-price or big-box retail, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Resolve issues and supervise front-end operations to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Support Asset Protection strategies to reduce shrink.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Engage in Community Relations programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
