Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to interact with customers as a role model.
• Able to operate front-end equipment: registers, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and move carts as required.
• Strong attention to detail and cash handling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Assign store sweeps, monitor cash register supplies, and maintain cleanliness in restrooms and parking lots.
• Maintain visibility of exit doors for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and disciplinary actions as needed.
