Sprouts Farmers Market in Austin, TX is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with training, scheduling, and daily operations to ensure a smooth checkout experience.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers as a role model.
• Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication skills; the ability to take direction/constructive criticism and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry product up to 30 lbs., and move carts as specified, with physical requirements.
• Requires strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers; ability to read, write and count.

Responsabilités

• Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks
• Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register
• Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots
• Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues
• Schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements
• Assist in the hiring and training of new Cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions
