Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced register team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will mentor Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks, ensure smooth store operations, and support scheduling, training, and policy adherence.

The role requires a strong service mindset, reliable leadership, and the ability to manage front-end equipment and multi-task across shifts. Join a team-focused environment that values efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and maneuver carts as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at registers and assist Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Address customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and managing disciplinary actions.
• Maintain security and cleanliness standards around exits, restrooms and parking areas.
• Lead in a fast-paced environment and set a positive example.
