Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company, based in Tyler, Texas, seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead front-end operations and store office staff, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with AML, lottery, and money transfer rules.

You will hire and train partners, maintain safety, scheduling, cash handling, and uphold company policies while delivering a friendly, efficient checkout experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Must obtain HIPAA, AML, and other certifications within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• Minimum 18 years of age; Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business.
• Strong knowledge of store operations and compliance with state laws on alcohol, tobacco, and lottery.
• Ability to lead and train front-end staff and maintain high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and develop front-end partners; plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance.
• Ensure effective training of partners within supervised departments.
• Provide friendly, service-oriented interaction with customers and handle complaints professionally.
• Protect store sales by ensuring accurate front-end procedures and compliance measures.
• Lead cash handling, policies, and procedures; monitor performance and provide feedback to Store Director.
• Manage money orders, check cashing, and daily office audits; report variances.
