Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas, is seeking a Store Operations Leader to support the Store Director by guiding Service Specialists, training partners, and maintaining a friendly, clean shopping environment.

You will review historical data to forecast sales, manage inventory, monitor profit and loss, balance tills, open/close the store, handle deposits, and uphold food safety and government labeling standards while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Two or more years of related experience or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, trains and develops partners; plans, assigns and directs work; rewards and disciplines.
• Reviews historical data to forecast future sales from ads and promotions; manages inventory and in-stock levels.
• Reviews P&L, sales, shrink and labor data; reports issues to upper management.
• Checks inventory on trucks and unloads products; ensures accurate ordering and paperwork.
• Opens/closes store as assigned; ensures proper procedures are followed.
• Inspects product quality and food safety standards; adheres to labeling requirements.
• Prepares deposits and change orders; balances tills and handles tender policies.
• Notifies Store Director of efficiency improvements.
• Maintains pricing accuracy via scanners and operations support.
• Maintains clean, safe environment and customer-friendly service.
