Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company seeks a capable Store Operations Leader to manage front-end and store office operations, ensuring high engagement and customer satisfaction. You will address issues through effective communication, routine training, and strict adherence to company policies.

You will oversee compliance (AML, lottery, Western Union where applicable), ensure proper staffing, maintain a clean, safe environment, and ensure expedient checkout services for a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of checkout policies and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of store office processes and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of state laws on alcohol, tobacco and lottery where applicable.
• Advanced knowledge of anti-money laundering and other monetary regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of cash register operations and tender procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training and developing store partners; planning, directing and evaluating work.
• Ensures effective training of front end staff under their supervision.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and handle complaints with a customer-service mindset.
• Ensure accuracy of front-end procedures and compliance measures to protect store revenue.
• Prepare reports and business correspondence; conduct performance evaluations and give feedback to the Store Director.
