Job summary

Kroger in Stoughton, WI is seeking a front end operations support role to help implement policies and improve customer service at check stands and related areas. You will work with store leadership to promote Kroger initiatives and ensure a clean, organized shopping environment.

The role requires scheduling flexibility, weekend/holiday availability and strong communication skills. Training and coaching responsibilities are included as part of daily duties to enhance performance across Front End,

Qualifications

• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as the work demands.
• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed (emphasis on Prime Time)
• Store retail experience with an emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
• Ability to multi task and handle large workloads.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn a wide range of computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACE, Supersked, etc.
• Understanding of all key components of department operations (ie. Managing people, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, expense control)

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support of Front End operations, policies, processes and procedures.
• Explore and develop more effective processes for Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment across departments.
• Ensure safe, effective customer service throughout the department.
• Coach and train customer service managers and front end supervisors.
