Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Front End Operations Supervisor to support day-to-day front end, customer service and accounting activities at our Wisconsin locations. You will streamline processes, train staff, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping experience.

The role requires flexibility for shifts including evenings and weekends, strong communication, and hands-on supervision of front end teams to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as the work demands.
• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed (emphasis on Prime Time)
• Store retail experience with an emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
• Ability to multi task and handle large workloads.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn a wide range of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACE, Supersked, etc.
• Understanding of all key components of department operations (ie. Managing people, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, expense control)
• Past work record must exhibit a high level of integrity and dependability.
• Thorough experience in customer service and all phases of front-end operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support of Front End department operations, policies, processes and procedures.
• Explore and develop more effective processes for Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service and Accounting.
• Ensure safe, effective and efficient customer service is provided throughout department.
• Provide training, support and follow up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Coach and train customer service manager and front end supervisors.
• Promote company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports.
• Support store management in maintaining a well-organized, clean shopping environment at check stands and related areas.
• Follow through on special assignments and perform duties as assigned.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
