Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Front End Operations support role to enhance daily processes, training, and customer service across the Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting areas. The position emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to a safe, welcoming shopping experience.

Responsibilities include coaching frontline supervisors, implementing company initiatives, and maintaining a clean, efficient environment at checkouts and service areas.

Qualifications

• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings or nights as work demands.
• Willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed (Prime Time).
• Store retail experience with emphasis on customer service/front-end operations.
• Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACE, Supersked, etc.
• Understanding of department operations (people, merchandising, inventory, shrink, scheduling, expenses).
• Past work record with integrity and dependability.
• Thorough experience in customer service and front-end operations.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Front End department operations, policies, and processes.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient work environment for Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting.
• Ensure safe, effective and efficient customer service throughout the department.
• Track and improve key retailing metrics and reporting tools.
• Provide training and follow-up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Coach and train customer service managers and front end supervisors.
• Promote and implement company initiatives and process improvements to reports.
• Maintain a well-organized, clean shopping environment at check stands and related areas.
• Perform special assignments and any duties as assigned.
• Complete essential functions of the role with or without accommodations.
