Kroger in Milwaukee is seeking a Front End Operations support role to improve processes across Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting. You will train and coach supervisors, promote company initiatives, and maintain a clean, efficient shopping environment across checkout areas and service desks.

Qualifications

• Store retail experience with an emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
• Ability to multi task and handle large workloads.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with common computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of department operations (people, merchandising, inventory, shrink, scheduling, expenses).
• High level of integrity and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop more effective and efficient processes, policies and procedures for Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service and Accounting.
• Ensure safe, effective and efficient customer service is provided throughout department.
• Improve Shopping Experience Progress Report, Customer Tracker, Associate Tracker, Cash Over/Short, and other metrics.
• Provide training, support and follow up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Coach and train customer service manager and front end supervisors.
• Promote and implement company initiatives to direct reports in a positive and respectful manner.
• Support store management and customer service manager in maintaining a well-organized environment at check stands, front-end and parking lot.
• Follow through on special assignments and perform any duties as assigned.
