Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Front End Operations lead at our Pewaukee location to support day-to-day operations across Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting. You will help implement policies, train staff, and ensure a high-quality shopping experience.

The role requires flexibility across shifts, weekend/holiday work, and a strong customer service background with the ability to manage multiple tasks and learn various software tools.

Qualifications

• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as required by the work demands.
• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays (Prime Time).
• Store retail experience with emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
• Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn a wide range of computer applications.
• Understanding of all key components of department operations including people management, merchandising, inventory, shrink, scheduling, and expenses.
• Past work record demonstrating integrity and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting.
• Develop more effective processes for Front End, Customer Service Center, and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service and Accounting.
• Ensure safe, effective customer service across the department.
• Improve reporting dashboards and key retailing measurements.
• Provide training and follow-up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Coach and train Front End supervisors and customer service managers.
• Promote and implement company initiatives and process improvements to staff.
• Support store management and customer service manager to maintain a organized, clean shopping environment at all customer touchpoints.
• Execute special assignments and perform any duties as assigned.
