Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail grocery or customer service experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory, leadership, or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling, retail operations, and customer service practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-end activities including cashiering and checkout performance.
• Monitor registers, self-checkout, service counters and related customer service functions.
• Manage flow and staffing to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times.
• Assist with opening, closing, and cash-handling procedures.
• Support compliance with company standards and policies.
• Supervise and coach front-end associates and communicate goals and standards.
• Assist with labor planning and daily workload distribution.
• Help implement store programs, promotions, and operational initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
• Promote safety and store presentation standards.
