Job summary

Martin-Marietta-1798b2fd is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate front end loaders and other heavy equipment. The role includes transporting raw materials from railcars to stockpiles and loading finished products for distribution, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

New Hire Orientation and Safety Training will be conducted in person at the Dallas, Texas Corporate Office. Travel reimbursements are provided for qualifying distances as per policy, supporting

Qualifications

• Operates heavy equipment such as loaders, graders, dump trucks.
• Performs daily pre-shift inspections and reports repairs.
• Reads/writes in English and performs basic math for gauges and ratios.
• Follows MSHA/OSHA safety rules and procedures.
• Able to work irregular shifts, days/nights, weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment (loaders, graders, haul units) safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance.
• Assist rail unloading, quality control, and scale house tasks as needed.
• Maintain roadways and loading areas for safe operations.
• Follow safety regulations and report needed repairs to supervisor.
