Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Loader Operator to safely operate heavy front-end loaders in an aggregate yard. You will load products into customer trucks and railcars while preserving stockpile integrity and following a strict safety culture.

Responsibilities include controlling material flow, performing routine inspections, and maintaining cleanliness around loading areas. Overtime and weekend work may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of load handling and safe stockpile management.
• Familiarity with MSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to manage traffic flow and communicate with drivers.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders safely to move materials.
• Control material flow to conveyors and stockpiles.
• Maintain stockpile separation and prevent contamination.
• Perform daily pre/post shift inspections and basic PMs.
• Coordinate with drivers and plant operators using signals/CB radio.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
