Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Front-End Manager to oversee front-end operations, ensure fast, friendly checkout service, and support store performance goals in a busy retail environment.

You will coach and develop front-end associates, manage scheduling and service levels, monitor cash handling, and help maintain a safe, clean, and compliant store atmosphere while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all front-end operations, ensuring fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Support customer service programs and respond to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide checkout support as needed, including register functions and customer assistance.
• Guide and oversee front-end activities including scheduling, service levels, and daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a positive front-end environment.
• Manage cash handling processes including tills, safe counts, reconciliation, refunds, and transactions.
• Monitor inventory and ordering of front-end supplies and materials.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop front-end associates and supervisors.
• Support labor planning, budgeting, and expense control for the department.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Complete daily reports, payroll processes, and required documentation.
