Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Front End Supervisor to supervise guest checkout experiences and ensure consistent service standards. You will monitor front end operations, train cashiers and hosts, and coordinate schedules with the Store Manager for optimal service levels.

The role requires strong guest service skills, the ability to stand for long periods, and effective communication to uphold policy and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Friendly personality and ability to work with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs constantly.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Guest Service Standards
• Ensures front end standards are met at all times.
• Manages guest traffic flow and monitors productivity.
• Writes schedules with Store Manager to provide desired service level.
• Trains cashiers to call extra hosts as needed.
• Handles guest requests, refunds, overrides, and approvals promptly.
• Keeps front end clean and parking lot free of debris.
• Models professional speech, dress, hygiene and integrity.
• Blocks unused lanes when not in use.
• Monitors and enforces front end policies related to assets and shrink.
• Trains and develops Front End Hosts.
• Provides feedback to hosts about performance.
• Processes guest orders and acts as cashier when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
