Ingles Markets is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead front-end operations and maintain high service standards in-store. The role focuses on supervising cashiers, ensuring efficiency, and delivering a friendly, hometown shopping experience.

You will open registers, manage schedules, handle transactions in line with company policy, and support store leadership in daily front-end activities. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier or front-end experience is required.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs especially during times of high volume and/or stress.
• Must be able to read and do simple math problems.
• Wants to be part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Weekly pay with direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist cashiers promptly.
• Open additional registers when three or more customers are in line.
• Create and enforce work schedules for front-end personnel.
• Assist with sales transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Process Western Union and Money Order transactions.
• Inform management of pricing issues, register malfunctions, and items missing from POS files.
• Handle refunds, overrings, overrides, check approvals, cash pickups, and change-order requests.
• Enforce dress code and monitor breaks per company and federal guidelines.
• Ensure perishables are returned to stock promptly.
