This role supports the Front End Leader and may take on additional responsibilities as assigned, with annual certification required. You will oversee self-checkout coverage, direct traffic flow for quick checkouts, schedule staff, monitor cash procedures, and coach team members on service culture and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of front-end or retail leadership experience.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent coverage of Self Checkout activities and ensure all sales are captured while delivering exceptional guest service.
• Direct traffic flow for speedy checkout and assist cashiers as needed.
• Create and manage daily schedules and control sheets for efficiency and compliance.
• Take ownership of one or more auxiliary front-end lines of business as assigned.
• Own the Front End when the Front-End Leader is not on duty and be the point person.
• Ensure daily compliance activities and own specific topics (AML, scale/PIN pad checks, WIC).
• Order Front End supplies with cost awareness.
• Train and coach Front End Team Members on efficiencies, service culture, and loss prevention.
