Giant Eagle is seeking a Front End Lead to strengthen loyalty, speed up guest checkout, and ensure accurate sales capture across lanes. The role supports the Front End Leader and may take on additional tasks as assigned. Annual certification is required.

The position emphasizes running a safe, efficient front end, coaching team members, and maintaining coverage during shifts to maximize guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age

Responsabilités

• Maintain consistent coverage of Self Checkout activities to capture sales and service guests safely.
• Direct traffic flow for speedy checkout; assist cashiers and open additional checkout options.
• Create and manage daily schedules and break plans; monitor cash control procedures.
• Take ownership of one or more auxiliary Front End lines of business (gift cards, candy, etc).
• Be the Front End point person when the Front End Leader is not on duty.
• Ensure daily compliance activities and own assigned topics (AML, scale/PIN pad checks, WIC).
• Order Front End supplies and manage costs.
• Train and coach Front End Team Members on efficiencies, service culture and loss prevention.
