Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. Burlington store is seeking a motivated frontline supervisor to promote a highly-satisfied customer experience and drive loyalty.

You will train and mentor Associates, supervise register transactions, and ensure consistent adherence to policies and procedures across the sales floor. This role requires flexible availability including evenings and weekends, strong interpersonal and team leadership skills, cash handling ability, and prior retail supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work as a team member.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to lift heavy merchandise with/without accommodations.
• Able to train and provide direction to others.
• Able to run a register and handle money.
• Confidential information handling discretion.
• Retail supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a highly-satisfied customer experience and loyalty.
• Trains and mentors associates on frontline execution of register transactions.
• Maintains cash controls and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Assigns registers and coordinates breaks for coverage.
• Ensures merchandising and frontline cleanliness and organization.
• Monitors frontline equipment and reports issues to management.
• Upholds safety and loss prevention policies and procedures.
